How to Overcome the computer Cannot connect to the LAN Network

In every office, the problem that occurs quite often is that the computer cannot connect to the internet.

There are many reasons why a computer cannot connect to the internet network, even though it is using a LAN network.
The cause that often occurs is when the ethernet driver has not been installed on the computer, so the LAN port does not function properly. It is enough to install the LAN driver.

But sometimes, even though the driver has been installed, the computer still cannot connect to the LAN network, even though other computers in one room can connect.
This sometimes confuses the IT Support. In this article, the author tries to provide several solutions for this.
How to overcome the computer can not connect to the internet LAN network

1. Unplug and plug the LAN cable back in

One of the causes that often occurs is because the LAN cable is not installed properly, or it could be that the computer is nudged causing the RJ45 to be disconnected.

The thing that needs to be done is, we can unplug the lan cable, then install it lag.
If that doesn't work, please attach the lan cable to the tester to check and make sure the lan cable is working properly.

If it turns out that the LAN cable is not working properly, we can re-crimp it because the RJ45 could be the problem.

2. Check the IP Configuration on the problematic computer

If after running the tester and the lan cable is normal, we can check the IP Configuration on Windows, make sure the IP doesn't clash with the others.
The fastest way is to make automatic IP and DNS, so that the computer can get an IP that is sure to be empty automatically.

3. Restart Router

If these two things still don't work, it means there is a problem with the router. It could be a problem from the central network, there could also be a conflicting IP.

To overcome this, we can restart the router, so that the IP can return to normal.
Most of the three solutions above can handle the problem of a computer not being able to connect to the internet with a LAN network.
