How To Use Foundation And Concealer To Look Natural And Beautiful Naturally

The natural makeup look may seem easy, but usually a lot of effort is put into it, especially in the film world. In a recent TikTok video, makeup artist Bronte-Marie Wesson recreated a Pride and Prejudice-esque look, where her foundation looks exactly like a second skin.

No, the secret isn't one particular foundation or concealer . Instead, it's about how you use those basic products. Check out three important tips from Bronte-Marie Wesson below.

Makeup tips how to use foundation and concealer to make it look natural

1. Don't use just one base product

"You'll need a tinted moisturizer , foundation , and concealer ," says Wesson. While it may seem like more makeup than you'd expect for a second skin look, you won't actually be using too much product. And when you mix it up right, it won't look like you're wearing anything at all.

Layer on tinted moisturizer first, using more than foundation , and only using a small amount of concealer under your eyes and to cover any blemishes.

2. Smooth with your finger and finish with a sponge

「シームレスに見せたい場合、手はファンデーションに最適なツールです」とウェッソンは説明します。 Once you've pressed the product into your skin, take a medium-moisture beauty sponge and blend in anything that looks unfinished.

And if you want more coverage , work from the inside out. Basically, use more foundation in the center of your face and minimal coverage as you reach your hairline. This way, there's no chance of finding a dramatic line where your foundation stops and true skin begins.

3. To complete it, use blush on

While placing blush on the high points of your cheekbones can provide a nice lift, it won't give a natural blush look. "Instead of lifting it on the cheeks, you can wear it on the cheekbones," says Wesson. Try to find a blush that mimics your natural hue and complements your base tone.

This "simple" makeup look can look great on camera. If you want to dress it up, feel free to add some shimmery eye shadow or dramatic mascara.
